any going?
Didn't see many buses at Tynecastle so wasn't sure if due to recent performances that supporters clubs are just not getting enough people to making running a bus viable

Elliots is running, but it's an early start to be in Auchterarder for opening time.

Reminds me of the time I had the two hour liquid lunch there, 12 pints later I fell on my coupon outside Tannadump & spent the first 20 mins of the game in the first aid room!

I can remember lying to the old dearie that was treat me saying that I'd only had 8 and was 18. She said "That's an awful lot for a young laddie to have drunk"

Nah, buses used to get parked on a bomb site opposite the Main Stand (where there's an Astro pitch now). Bus arrived at 5 to 3, so I was "running" to get a programme before going in. We used to get the terracing at what's now the Home end, went over on my ankle in a crater and 'spladoosh', hit the deck. :bang:

It was one of those instantaneous rebounds though, wi the amount I'd had to drink, & I missed the 1st ½ hour of the game getting the magic sponge.

Didn't phase me, never mind being rattled.

I vaguely remember a trip to Tannadice on the Elliots bus in the Jefferies era and In those days drinking on the bus was actively encouraged. The then bus convenor had a surplus of funds so he purchased a few cases of MD 20/20 and issued every passenger one when they boarded the bus!

MD was just like drinking Opal Fruits.

Mind you on top of about 10 pints, it was "made to make your mouth water" too.
