Can anyone tell me where you can get number plates made up with the FFC Steeple on it?

I see them running around the town but i've never had a chance to ask anyone.

Your help is appreciated.

You mean there's more than just me with the badge? I thought mine was unique! :x

Anyway, on a serious note, I got mine made up from the guys who used to be at the back of the Falkirk Shop in Kirk Wynd. Pretty sure they moved to their own premises though (somewhere in Grangemouth??) but I can't be sure where as I'm not from the area.

Think the company is Homefront Signs. Bit vague but hope it helps to an extent.

Sorry to tell you this but my Dad was nearly fined by the police, it is illegal to have the Steeple Badge on your number plate, if you get charged it is a £30 fine for each plate. We bought the plates as a present and it said Happy Birthday on them. He had to get new plates and take car to police station and let them see the changed plates. Crazy but true.

Contravenes European law, British law, Scots law, the equal rights commission procedures,
UN conventions and Falkirk Council best practice. It is also racist as you didnt get it translated into 173 languages like the application forms for housing in the area are.

Great to see that Plod is alert and keeping us safe. I'm glad my tax is being well spent. Gives you a warm fuzzy feeling doesn't it. :x

I used to have the Falkirk badge on mine and (touch ane touch awe better meddle wi the diel than the bairns oh falkirk) in small print, however i had to change them each time i went for an MOT as it is an instant failure, so make sure you have two sets of plates. As tsome of the other forum users have indicated they are illegal ihave just reverted back to the plain old plates.

I bought my original plates online at
http://www.myshowplates.com/?source=google
they offer next day delivery if the order is placed before 12 mid day

Sir Jones, Do you know a guy called James Mercer? I work at the bank with him and he said

"There's a loser mate of mine called Jones that's never of this forum."

Just wondering if your the same person. He may be pulling my leg though as he is a scummy fifer!

I can confirm that Mercer is indeed a scummy fifer. He actually had to leave his last job as he couldnt handle the shame of Dunfermline being so honking.

Checked up on this for you guys,

In the last 3 months this has been removed from the MOT fail list. There is a special notice in Annexe 2 of the list of failures about it as this has never been ratified by parliament.
It seems that it has been recognised that custom number plates deter car theft so you can have what you want on them as long as the numbers and letters conform to the standard.

You can go ahead and have Playboy bunnies, Falkirk motifs or pictures of Elvis if you want.

I think it is still the case that if you want to buy plates locally you need 3 forms of identification but it is still easy to get custom plates made up on line.

Hope this helps.

FFC number plates............. pffffft

The only reason to get them is if you cannot be arsed driving to away games, for the old " I cannae take MY car it'll get tanned!" excuse.

As for badges on the plates, who the hell looks at that? Same as a Falkirk tattoo totally pointless.
